Once infected you dont have much choices. One would be to completely
reinstall your Windows and all the applications. A hdd format is also
recommended to make sure no infected files remain.
But the easier way(and the recommended one) is to get a professional
program to simply clean your system without having to reinstall and
without losing any setting or file.

choices. You
may go for a free spyware remover(such as yahoo toolbar). But "you get
what
you pay for" so don't expect much from free software. It is
recommended that you choose a more powerful tool, such as Kaspersky.
