Malicious Sites
Malicious sites contain browser exploits, harmful javascript code or
activex or other technologies. Their purpose is to freeze or
crash a browser, or even crash the computer running that browser.
Nowadays their main purpose is to infect you with spyware or dialers in
order to benefit from remote usage of your computer or phone line.
Some of these malicious sites will simply give you an .exe file to
download and eventually run. Of course the file would be a trojan.
Unexperienced internet users can download and run these files specially
when they are named as casino.exe or sexygirl.exe
