mail-bomb trojans

A classic mailbomb is some kind of device like those seen on cartoons, that explode when opened. Mail-bomb trojan reffers to email bombing. Such trojan will hide in your system and then will send mass emails to some target, selected by the intruder. Some of them send bulk emails(spam) while others target a single mailbox and sends to it thousands of emails.

The first sign of a possible presence of such trojan is unusual traffic activity which can be seen with some packet analizers or can be simply seen on excessibe blinking of the leds from the network card or routers/modems.
